AnyConnect

AnyConnect is a Windows application that allows you to create and use VPN tunnels. It is oriented to the corporate sector and allows you to quickly organize access to the corporate network from an external resource. It can be used, for example, to work from home or connect a remote division to the company's common infrastructure.

Connection

After the first launch, you need to configure the basic connection parameters. The application requests the following dаta:

• password and login;
• connection name;
• server name or correct IP address.

After saving the settings, you can check the server access. If access to the external host is obtained without fail, a corresponding notification will be displayed on the screen. Additionally, you can open a panel with basic information about the current connection. The current IP address, protocol and other service information is displayed.

Traffic protection

To protect transmitted data, you can force encryption of traffic, which significantly increases security. Additional security mechanisms allow you to protect files from being intercepted by intruders. All modern protocols are supported, including IPsec, DTLS and TLS. The Always On VPN function is provided. When activated, users will be blocked from direct access to Internet sites. Only resources that belong to the corporate network will be opened. A hidden mode and the ability to automatically restore the connection after a failure are implemented.
