MiVue Manager

MiVue Manager is a freeware program that allows you to easily view the recordings made by your Mio car recorder. With the help of this program, you will easily find the necessary fragment of video footage by selecting a part of the route on the interactive map. The utility also activates the shock sensor (if available), giving the user the ability to view the location of the car relative to the sides of the light.

What can MiVue Manager do?

The program has the ability to unzip recordings with subsequent structuring, automatic detection of gadgets connected to the computer, working with a memory card (if there is a device that helps to read information from it). Note that the DVR Mio records in such formats as MOV and AVI. Without certain codecs, you will not be able to open the recording. Installing these codecs is not included in the MiVue Manager functionality and must be done separately. There are many codec packs available on the web, but the best solutions are those that are free of charge. In addition to viewing your selections on the interactive road map, you can navigate through the video by selecting the date and approximate travel time using the interactive calendar. If the recording device fails to save timecodes, the "calendar" method of searching for fragments will not function. Another feature of MiVue Manager is a pre-installed video player that occupies most of the main window. The functionality of this player is extremely limited. Among the player's features, you can only switch between full-screen and windowed modes, adjust the volume and playback speed of a recording, and quickly switch between recordings.

Disadvantages of the program:

• The need to download and install third-party software (codecs for playing video fragments in MOV and AVI formats);
• Extremely limited functionality of the player.
