Microsoft Equation Editor

The Microsoft Equation Editor module is an extension to the Word program. It is designed for easy insertion and editing of formulas and other complex objects. The toolbar allows you to adjust the style and size of the formula.

How do I add an equation?

Adding a formula editor makes your work much easier. To add a new equation, select the "Insert" category in the main menu, then the "Create" item. In the new panel, select "Microsoft Equation 3.0" and confirm the command by clicking "OK". It is possible to change the equation, add additional elements and formulas. To close the tool without inserting, it is enough to click on the empty space of the original document. The work module can also be used in PowerPoint and Excel packages. In this case, the principle of operation is similar, and a convenient panel with the necessary set of functions is added. You can customize the appearance, work with templates and specify the location relative to other objects.

After installation, about 120 templates with fractions appear in the Formula category, 150 math elements are also present. The alternation of different templates allows you to create multi-step formulas. It is worth considering that the created formulas do not allow you to perform calculations, because they are added in the form of pictures. Built-in tools allow you to quickly change the style, appearance of the formula and its integration into the surrounding content. To invoke the plugin, you can use not only the "Insert" menu, but also a separate section for working with formulas.
