PhotoGraV

PhotoGraV is a Windows program that allows you to prepare a drawing for use in laser engraving. It can be used in various types of machines that support this format. It is possible to adjust the brightness and contrast, which allows you to achieve the desired gradient in the process of embodiment on a physical surface. In the interface of the program you can select a material from the list and clearly see the final result. It is possible to change the overall size.

Data import

After starting the program, you need to select the source file through the main menu. All popular formats are supported - BMP, PNG and JPG.

Engraving

The next step involves selecting a material for the base and adjusting the size. It is possible to simulate the real process of processing window glass, leather, wood, ceramics and plastic. The result looks quite realistic. After making all the settings, you need to click the Final Process icon, which is located on the toolbar. After analysis and processing the program will display the result of engraving. It is possible to open the original next to it for comparison, making corrections if necessary to improve the result.

Processing

At the setup stage, the interface allows you to change the basic parameters of the drawing, including brightness and saturation. It is also possible to generate a standard histogram. All changes are made interactively, the result is immediately displayed in a separate window. A set of settings can be saved as a template with a characteristic name, which is convenient when using similar projects. It is also possible to upload the final result to a file or send it for printing.
