The application allows users to select and install various mods and add-ons to the cult game GTA. There is a full-fledged editor for images in IMG format (used by many developers), there is the ability to search and replace files. Crazy IMG Editor is a Windows application that allows you to edit IMG-images. The main direction of the project - install add-ons to different versions of GTA. To do this, you need to unzip the downloaded image, find and replace certain files. It is possible to sort and search for files by a set of parameters. Tools are provided for repacking the image after making changes, which will allow you to use the game in normal mode.

Replacing and extracting

The installation process of the selected mod is to substitute certain files in the original build. The user needs to extract the necessary components on the PC. Then with the help of the program you can edit modules or replace them with others. A batch processing mode is provided, which gets rid of routine operations, partially automating the process. There is a set of filters to form a selection of files of the desired type, which also speeds up the work, eliminating the need to view all the game files (there can be quite a lot of them, including nested directories). You can find out the size of the new version of the file and compare it with the previous value. After the work, the image must be rebuilt. At the last stage you should copy the modified IMG file to the game directory. The history of previously opened images is saved in a separate panel, which allows you to return to the project again.
