WaveLab

WaveLab is a Windows application designed for recording and editing audio files. There is a function of spectrum analysis, error correction, you can work with multiple tracks. Sound processing with sampling rates up to 384 kHz is supported. If you need additional functionality, you can download and connect a suitable plug-in - there are interesting solutions from different developers.

Importing files

When starting a new project, you need to select the source file by specifying it in the directory. A convenient file manager is provided for this purpose - you can sort and search for content. All major file types are supported, including WAV, FLAC, MP3 and OGG.

Correction

Built-in tools and algorithms that allow you to noticeably improve the quality of the original sound. In particular, you can select and remove various natural defects - crackle, noise and so on. This function is often used by specialists when digitizing records from records and old cassettes. These media inevitably add external noise to the original recording. A special panel allows you to cut out a certain part of the recording.

Editing

You can adjust the playback speed and add effects from a selection of effects. A full-featured equalizer is provided for fine-tuning the sound. You can play back the intermediate result at any stage of work. MasterRig plug-in is built in, designed to work with mastering chains. It allows you to effectively compress audio using modern algorithms, as well as record tracks to media.
