HashTab

HashTab is an application developed for Windows. Among the features - cleaning 5 hash in the sum of files. The utility is a system extension, with integration with the context menu. It is given the opportunity to compare data and the purpose of conducting a check of the invariability and authenticity of the information provided. Users have the opportunity to choose algorithms, according to which the calculation of hash summation is carried out. Support - CRC, GOST, BitTorren and other protocols.

Purpose

During the exchange of files over existing communication channels, one of the most important tasks is to ensure the value of the transmitted information. The recipient must be sure that the data he receives is unchanged. Hash sum technology is used for this purpose. If the original value is available, the user can compare the received document with the sent version and make sure that it is unchanged.

Calculation technology

The basis of the program is an extension, which can be used to quickly calculate the hash sum for documents of any parameter. After installation, the user makes a selection in favor of the required item by right-clicking on it, followed by selecting "Properties" in the opened tab. Next, the transition "Hash sum of files" is performed. It is possible to mark the algorithms that were used for calculation. There is support for about 3 dozen standards. There is a function of comparing 2 files by hash sum.
