NAPS2 is a Windows computer utility that allows users to scan images and documents. The result can be saved as a PDF file or a picture. It is possible to customize the contrast, quality and brightness of the image.

Getting Started

After turning on the computer program, a person will need to specify the scanner to be used, which must be previously connected to a laptop or personal computer. It is also necessary to select the desired drivers or download new ones. When these actions are completed, the person will be able to start scanning pictures and documents. The application allows you to customize the parameters for the upcoming scanning, including contrast and quality. Editing and saving

Before saving a scanned document or picture, a person can use the built-in editor. With its help it is possible to change the image borders, sheet orientation, color design and many other things. The computer program allows a person to independently choose the desired format for saving the file. In addition to the option of saving the result in JPEG or PNG, the user can create a document with a PDF extension. The latter will come in handy when scanning paper sheets with text. The utility also allows you to immediately send the file to another person via e-mail. There is native support for Gmail and Outlook.
