MMPI

MMPI is a Windows computer program that provides an opportunity to test your own state of mind and personal characteristics. The utility offers a test with 566 questions. The program is distributed for free and does not contain advertising content.

Passing the test

After a person starts the computer utility, a survey with several hundred different questions will be displayed in front of him. In each of them, the user needs to either reject the statement or agree if it is true for him. The tasks available in the test have different thematic focus. Therefore, during the test a person will have to answer statements related to society, personal life and other topics.

Test Results

When a person completes the survey, a window with the results will appear in front of him/her. Based on the answers, the computer utility estimates the chances of the user having various mental disorders. These include:

• Psychopathy;
• Schizophrenia;
• Hypomania;
• Paranoia;
• Depression.

In addition, the application determines how honest the user was in answering the questions presented. If a person scores more than 70 points in this category, he or she is informed about his or her insincerity. Therefore, with this result, it is advisable to retake the test, answering the statements with more thoughtfulness. The person is allowed to learn about every disorder that can be detected by taking the survey. The utility also allows saving the results in the form of a text file.
