Chromatia tuner is a Windows application designed for tuning various musical instruments. In the process of work the spectrogram is displayed, which facilitates the work. A user-friendly interface is used, all necessary functions are available. There is a help section with a full description of the functionality and features of the program

Instrument tuning

The program supports all types of modern musical instruments. To be able to customize, it is necessary to connect a MIDI-compatible device to a standard PC audio input. To facilitate the work, users could choose a ready-made profile with settings (30 variants) or create a new one for the current task. The integrated chromatic tuner allows for nine full octaves, with a tuning accuracy of 0.1 Hz. This is sufficient for most applications. An automatic calibration mode is provided, the function is located on the Tuning tab. Switching to manual mode is done using the Manual button - a panel will appear on the right, where you need to make all the necessary settings. The application allows you to forcibly filter out low frequencies and noticeably reduce the input noise level. An ordinary microphone is used for calibration. When running the program on a laptop, you can use the power-saving mode.

Spectrogram output

The Spectrum button allows you to open the Spectrogram panel. This is a special graph that shows the change of spectral density over time. This makes it easier to work with audio tuning. It provides high accuracy of adjustment and convenient tracking of parameter changes during the calibration process.
