Windows Update Blocker

The Windows Update Blocker application allows you to reliably block automatic update downloads. As a bonus, you can separately customize the activation settings of some services that have the ability to affect the update mode. Updates

The application is portable, installation on a PC is not necessary. It is enough to copy the files to a convenient place and run the executable file. The start window immediately displays the current status of the update service and a button to change it. You can work in two modes - graphical interface and command line for more experienced users. One of the main menu sections allows you to view all the main keys.

Service parameters

A separate panel allows you to centrally configure the startup mode of system services. At the same time, the user can manually edit the set of services. To do this, open the Wub.ini file (you can use Notepad) and add the name of the required service. The application allows you to deactivate automatic service loading at OS startup. A separate option allows you to explicitly block the possibility of changing the key by third-party programs - such behavior is not uncommon. Many users face the situation when, after blocking the update function, it is arbitrarily activated after some time. This option guarantees protection against this mode.
