WinPic800

WinPic800 is a category of free utilities designed for PIC microcontrollers. The program interacts perfectly with currently available versions of Windows.

Using the programmer

When installing the utility, drivers are installed on the PC. After the process is completed, you need to run the utility and visit the settings section, setting the appropriate values. Here you should select the programmer to be used and the connection port. Support for such types of programmers as LPT, JDM and GTP-USB is available. The program is regularly updated. Although some PC owners do not get the utility working after the update. But the solution to this problem is to uninstall the old version of the application and install the new one.

Functionality

One of the main advantages of the utility is the presence of a simple and clear interface. The firmware can be easily launched from an external application of similar type (for example, mikroPascal compiler). After the programming process is completed, the user can perform a code validation. It should be taken into account that HEX files should be displayed in the corresponding window. There are such tabs as Config, EEprom memory. By clicking on them you can get certain information. In the prog easily write, read, check Flash, erase, and also set configuration bits. When selecting the Russian language, you may notice that in some tabs of the interface appear random characters.
