Firebird

The Firebird program is an open source DBMS. All necessary tools for working with relational databases are integrated, including SQL language support. Connection

To work with the application, you need to install the server part and specify the first settings. You need to save the name of the database and select the launch mode. To expand the functionality, you can connect third-party libraries. Interaction with tables stored in different directories is supported, and the size of one file can reach 64 terabytes. A convenient editor is provided for SQL work, which supports syntax highlighting, error display and the ability to quickly check the current version of the script for operability.

Management

The program allows you to create and save stored procedures, which are sets of SQL commands. Such blocks allow you to perform operations on data and various calculations. It is recommended to use for typical tasks, which eliminates the need to write a block of code repeatedly. Programmers also often use triggers that automatically start a sequence of commands when a certain event occurs.
