NBTExplorer

NBTExplorer is a Windows application for map editing. In addition to locations, you can change additional parameters - character speed, resource generation algorithm, number and behavior of mobs, world name and others. There is a large set of templates.

File import

The application is portable and fully functions without installation in the system. It is enough to unpack the resulting archive in a convenient directory and run the main executable file. A panel will open, in which you need to specify the path to the directory with the game map.

Editing

Once the data has been loaded, the current file structure will be displayed in a separate panel. This allows you to go through all directories to view the contents. To change a parameter, it is enough to click on it twice. An editing field is activated, in which you need to specify the new value and save it. The program allows you to change the global parameters of the map, edit the game mode, the duration of game days, the features of block generation. After making all the settings, you need to confirm them by clicking on the Save button. To access the necessary files you can use the search mode. The file manager allows you to delete or replace individual elements. More experienced users can use the NBTUtil utility, which allows using the command line to edit the properties of files.
