PhysX

PhysX is a software component that is required to be installed on a PC in order to run certain video games. Basically, it is a software tool without which the computer cannot properly reproduce the simulation in video games, which causes an error. Without PhysX, projects such as Metro Last Light and Assassins Creed IV Black Flag cannot be run.

Installation

First of all, you need to perform the installation procedure. It does not take a lot of time, because the user will only need to run the executable file downloaded to the PC in advance. The program is installed in the desired location on the computer in a fully automatic mode. Installation may be required if you encounter a playback error in a game that runs on the basis of PhysX technologies (and this is a considerable set of projects from the 2010s).

Features

PhysX contains a library of elements and whole chunks of program code that an application accesses to correctly reproduce the simulation in a video game. All of these components are responsible for physically correct reproduction of many aspects such as: clothing, motion physics, natural effects, and more. PhysX was heavily utilized by NVidia's GeForce 9 series graphics cards.
