Zadig

The Zadig application is used to ensure full operation of RTL-based receivers. The utility does not require installation and uses a simple interface.

Installation and use

Beforehand, you need to unzip the SDRSharp files to an arbitrary directory. Next, you need to find in the folder and run the main installation file, and then wait for the installation to complete. The installation process is standard, complex settings are not provided. This allows even inexperienced users to independently connect the device and start working. After that you need to install the tuner in a free USB port and launch the utility. In a separate section there will be a list of supported devices, it is necessary to select the model to be installed. After starting the operation, additional settings are not required. It is necessary to wait for the appropriate notification, after which you can use the program.

Possible errors

If the installed application cannot automatically detect the connected tuner, it is recommended to check the version of the downloaded program. You can also reinstall the application, which often fixes the problem. In some cases, the problem may be the lack of physical contact, for example, after a broken cable. In this case, simply replace it, using a standard cord, which is available commercially. If the program automatically closes immediately after startup, you need to install or update the .Net Framework package. This component can be downloaded for free from the official page, the installation is standard and does not cause any difficulties. After completion it is necessary to restart the PC.
