Scrivener

Scrivener is a special editor for Windows devices that allows you to create text materials. The available functionality is primarily intended for the development of scripts and literary works. There is an interactive tutorial to quickly learn all the features of the software.

Getting started and interface

The first thing a person will be prompted to do is to create a new project. At the same time, the computer program will open a window with a choice of layout. Among the available options are: from scratch, miscellaneous, scenarios, documentary and fiction. In the same window, you can activate the interactive tutorial. With its help, the user can learn about all the tools that are available in the utility. Once the user starts working, he will see the editor interface divided into several windows. The leftmost section is responsible for displaying the list of all documents and folders. Then there is a window with a table that shows various information about the project in brief. In the center of the interface is the text editor itself. The next window has many purposes. For example, here the user can write a synopsis of his project, create notes, assign tags, work with metadata and much more. It should be noted that the user can familiarize himself with the utility for free. The developers give one month for this purpose.
