Packet Tracer

Packet Tracer allows you to create virtual networks and simulate their operation. All necessary components are supported - network printers, routers, switches and others. This allows you to implement different topologies and use modern protocols.

Program description

The application allows you to fully simulate the work of various network nodes with the help of a simulator. You can use the graphical interface or the command line to configure it. A visualization mode is provided for viewing the path of data packets that are sent over the network. A separate panel displays additional information, including the time of data set delivery. This allows you to fully analyze the performance of the deployed infrastructure.

Toolbar and main window

All main elements are located on the main panel and main menu. It is possible to change the interface language, customize the workspace and other elements. The constructor mode is used to form a local network. The built-in catalog of elements is conveniently structured, which makes it easy to find content. After adding a new node, you can customize its basic parameters, mode of operation and connection to other devices. The functions of scaling, deleting, moving objects and grouping into logical blocks are available. It is possible to switch between real mode and simulation. This makes working with large projects much easier.
