PrusaSlicer

PrusaSlicer is a highly specialized Windows program that provides users with a convenient toolkit for preparing a three-dimensional object for printing. The utility can be used by connecting a special printer to a computer or laptop. It allows you to create several profiles with a different set of parameters.

Preliminary setup

The first thing to do is to configure the key parameters of the computer utility. To simplify this process, the user can use the step-by-step setup mode with tips. During the initial selection of parameters, the utility needs to determine the model of the printer used. Therefore, it must be connected to a laptop or desktop computer in advance. It should be noted that the utility can work with equipment that supports MSLA and FFF technologies.

Viewing the model

Having completed the preliminary configuration, the user will be able to load a three-dimensional object into the application. The computer program allows adding 3D models with different extensions, including STL, 3DS, PLY and OBJ. After loading the object, the user is able to examine it in detail. You can zoom in and out of the model.

Printing

The main task of the program is to prepare the finished 3D model for printing. Therefore, the user is allowed to customize such parameters as density, extrusion width, layer height, and more. If desired, a person can create several presets with different settings. Thanks to this, it will be possible to quickly switch profiles and start printing.
