RS Photo Recovery

RS Photo Recovery is a Windows application for recovering image files from various storage devices. You can scan hard disks, cameras, memory cards and so on. Recovery is performed in a convenient step-by-step mode. Several operating modes are available.

Options

The first step of the wizard allows you to select the drive where the photos are located. It is possible to specify the desired folder to reduce the testing time. If the files have been deleted recently, a quick scan will suffice. If the data was lost as a result of a serious failure or formatting, it is recommended to go straight to a deep search. In the process, all sectors are checked, which takes more time, but increases the chance of recovery. Built-in filters and sorting mode allow you to find files by date, extension, name and other parameters. This will allow you to quickly find content among a large number of files.

Recovery

After selecting the optimal parameters, run the scan and wait for the final report. A list of all detected files will be displayed, among which you can select the necessary ones or restore the whole set. The table displays basic information - name, directory, size and so on. The right part of the window contains a preview module. It is possible to make sure that the necessary photo is detected and it is not damaged. To restore, you should mark the necessary files, specify the saving directory and press the corresponding button. It is important to save the files to another disk so that the files are not overwritten. Otherwise, the content can be lost permanently.
