KISSlicer

The KISSlicer application is a slicer for preparing 3D models for printing on a 3D printer. The final model is converted into G-code, which many devices work correctly with.

Application and working principle

The application is installed according to the standard scheme. You need to unpack the archive, activate the installation file and confirm the installation. You can modify the model using the workspace and customize the print mode to ensure maximum quality. All the necessary tools are available to customize filling, add supports, scale and find errors.

Program features

There are two versions of the application - free and paid. The second one provides additional functions for working with models. A separate panel allows you to customize nozzle parameters, a cloud library with a large amount of content is integrated. The use of a universal G-code ensures compatibility with all modern printers. Flexible adjustment of the block speed is provided, which allows you to find the optimal parameters for the selected plastic and heating mode. Before printing there is an opportunity to view the model layer by layer to identify errors. This mode allows you to visually identify overhanging elements without support, which will inevitably lead to print failure. If such areas are detected, an additional element for stability can be added immediately.
