LossPlay

LossPlay is a Windows application for audio and video playback. The player supports working with playlists, hotkeys and time codes.

Transcribing

The project was originally developed as a platform for converting audio to plain text. Integration with Word program is supported, which allows you to immediately transfer text to a new document. You can use hotkeys to control playback. Another useful feature is working with time codes. This allows you to link text to a specific event or replica. The text block can be flexibly customized by specifying font, size and position.

Playback

There are several modes for playing back a set of files. You can activate shuffle playback or use loop playback. To create a new playlist, specify the path to the directory or select the desired set of files. The mode of dragging and dropping files into the player window is supported. The ability to work with several lists at once is implemented, for this purpose the tab bar is used, which provides convenient switching. A set of recommendations for optimal program setup can be found in the built-in help. Interface elements, a set of hotkeys, available modes of operation and subtleties of quality source file recognition are described. For navigation you can use the panel with a list of categories, there is also a search form.
