Recover My Files

Recover My Files is a useful Windows application for fast recovery of deleted files. All current media types are supported. You can recover content even after formatting or file system failure.

File Search

After opening the program, you need to specify the drive from which you want to recover files. Next, you need to select the type of scan. Fast and deep scanning are supported. In the latter case, the process will take much longer, but the chance of recovering data increases. For this purpose, absolutely all sectors of the drive are checked. After checking the parameters, you need to run the scan and wait for the process to complete. It is important not to disconnect the external drive from the PC during the process.

Results

All found files will be displayed in the main window of the program. There is a preview panel for the specified file, which allows you to open the document to check its integrity. There is a set of filters for searching files by parameters - extension, name, date and so on. This allows you to reduce the selection for convenient viewing and search for the necessary data.

Recovery

The user needs to select the desired items in the list and click Start Recovery to start extracting the information. It is possible to explicitly specify the directory where all files will be saved. It is important to save to another disk to avoid damaging the original files. There is also an option to save the scan results as a draft to come back to later. There is a built-in help, which allows you to get a more detailed description of the principle of work. This will improve the efficiency of work and avoid mistakes.
