Speed-O-Meter application allows you to monitor the current Internet speed using a small panel. The information is displayed using a convenient graph. The panel can be easily moved, which allows you to find the most convenient position relative to other elements.

Using the application

After downloading and installation, no additional configuration is required. Available network interfaces are automatically detected. After launching the utility, a compact panel is displayed that can be placed in a convenient location on the desktop. Incoming and outgoing access speeds are displayed in real time. It is possible to customize the panel design. The data is displayed in the form of an updated graph, which allows you to immediately fix a drop in speed. In case of a significant drop in speed, you can immediately take the necessary measures to solve the problem.

Program features

The module consumes minimal hardware resources and does not load the system. The ability to record traffic at any time allows you to track programs that are actively accessing the network. If increased channel load is observed during idle moments, measures should be taken to find and deactivate the element. This is necessary because this behavior can reduce the speed of access at the time of the user. It is also recommended to additionally perform a full system scan for malicious modules. Such suspicious behavior often indicates the presence of third-party modules on the system.
