V-Ray Next

V-Ray Next is a professional Windows program designed for high-quality rendering of 3D scenes. The application with English interface is equipped with an algorithm for smart processing of 3D objects, an innovative hair shader and a large number of other useful features.

Purpose of the editor

Computer utility allows you to engage in the rendering of three-dimensional scenes that were previously created in other software, for example, Blender or Autodesk Maya. The features present in the application are aimed at the most realistic rendering of objects. Thanks to this, a person can get an extremely detailed scene. It is worth noting that the software does not have Russian-language localization. Nevertheless, a professional 3D artist will be able to quickly master the interface of the editor.

Utility functionality

The first thing an artist should do is to load the file that stores the 3D scene into the application. The list of supported formats includes: PLY, OBJ, DAE, STL, IFC, IGS, FBX and a number of others. The user does not necessarily need to upload a file with a completed project. If desired, the user can add a scene without texture maps to the program and then add them separately. Having finished loading the necessary content, the artist can start customizing the upcoming render. The editor has three different customization modes: expert, advanced and light. Depending on the user's choice, the number of available rendering parameters will vary. The most settings are present in the expert mode.
