Punto Switcher is a Windows application that allows you to automatically change the keyboard layout. You can create your own switching rules and activate transliteration using hotkeys. An auto-replacement module for error correction is built in.

Working principle

After installation, the application functions in the background. In the process of entering text in any text editor, the utility automatically detects the input language. If the user starts typing in a different layout, the program will automatically change the layout and correct the incorrect text. This situation is faced by many users who actively work with typing. If a person is in a hurry, he or she often starts typing without looking at the screen. Incorrect input can be noticed only after writing a large number of words. Usually in such cases you just have to erase the text and write it again. This is a waste of time.

Settings

The user can select the switching mode - manually or automatically. It is possible to create your own transliteration rules. For example, you can create a list of exceptions, they will not be taken into account in the text verification process. The utility tracks data input in various programs, including text editors and browsers. It is possible to customize the parameters of automatic replacement. This mode often helps to automatically eliminate typical errors. The built-in function allows you to set up an audio alert when changing the layout and an additional notification when a typo is detected. All necessary parameters and operating mode can be changed in the application settings.
