DigitizeIt

DigitizeIt is a software tool that runs on Windows devices. Thanks to the application, users are able to quickly digitize tables, graphs and more. The utility was created to assist professionals, researchers and students in retrieving information from scanned materials. The program is compatible with a large number of graphic extensions, including BMP, TIFF, XBM, PSD and JPEG.

Utility Interface

The computer application has an extremely easy-to-learn design. A significant part of the interface is allocated to the working area, which displays a diagram, table, graph or other scanned material. A panel with the main tools is available at the top. In the right half, the user can notice a window with the history of performed actions and detected data. It should be noted that the interface of the software is not translated into Russian. All the text is presented only in English. However, this should not cause problems for the user. If difficulties arise, the user can use a third-party translator or find tutorials on the Internet.

Working with data

First, a person needs to add an image with a graph, chart or other material to the program. The computer utility supports many formats. These include: PSD, JPEG, PSX. GIF, PNG, XBM, TIFF and BMP. When the image is added to the application, it will be displayed in the workspace. From this point on, the user is able to work with the uploaded data. This includes the ability to extract information for transferring it to other editors, for example, Microsoft Excel. It is also possible to edit charts and graphs.
