Dr Web Security Space is a Windows utility with an intuitive interface that can analyze memory to detect Trojans, rootkits and other malware. There are also functions for scanning e-mails and files downloaded from the network.

Memory Scan

The main function of the program is to scan the storage of the user's device to recognize different types of dangerous software, including keyloggers, spyware, viruses, rootkits, network worms and so on. Three analysis options are available on the antivirus homepage: full, quick and selective. The third method allows you to manually select the memory areas to be scanned. For example, a person can run an analysis of a specific folder or a separate drive. The application needs some time to perform the scan. The duration of this procedure may vary depending on the method selected, the speed at which the drives are read, and other factors. When the scan is complete, a special window will display a list of detected problems. The person will then be allowed to decide the fate of the dangerous files. Among the options are: ignore, quarantine and complete deletion.

Network security

The functionality of the program helps to protect the user while browsing websites and downloading content from the network. In addition, the application is able to scan incoming e-mails to protect people from spam and viruses.

Access

An additional option of the utility allows you to restrict the access of different software to hardware and certain folders. It is also possible to block the connection of flash drives to the device.
