aodNotify

aodNotify is an Android app that allows you to customize the notification display on Always On Display enabled devices. You can customize the backlighting around the edges of the screen, around the camera, or in the status bar.

Compatibility

It is worth considering that the program is compatible only with some models of smartphones from Samsung. In particular, some Galaxy A and S series devices are supported, as well as the Galaxy Note. By default, the application functions in parallel with the Always On Display mode, but it is able to work correctly offline. This allows you to activate the mode only when you receive important notifications, which saves battery power. At the same time, the user gets an opportunity to use a non-standard method of notification. The developers do not recommend using the Always On Display mode frequently. Due to the peculiarities of the matrix structure, there may be an effect of pixel burnout, although modern technologies have significantly reduced the likelihood of this effect.

Backlight settings

In the parameters you can change the color and layout of the light indication. The built-in set allows you to choose the option that suits you at the moment. There is a preview mode.

Notifications

You can preview notifications. You can read messages from messengers and other applications without activating the smartphone. The data is displayed in a compact panel. The application is able to show various system notifications, including a low battery message. A day and night mode is provided. This allows you to reduce the brightness at night so as not to cause discomfort in the dark.
