Remote Desktop

Remote Desktop is an Android application from Microsoft Corporation. It is designed for remote control of a computer, using the RDP protocol. All necessary modes and functions are provided, including file transfer, audio transfer and gesture control.

Connection

To work correctly, you need to activate the Remote Desktop Service on your PC beforehand. You also need to allow other users to connect for file transfer and control. This is a standard Windows module, which provides all the functionality. The name of the computer is used as an identifier - it must be entered in a special field. After confirmation, you need to wait for a message about successful connection. An important difference from similar software is that there is no need to install the client on a second device. The built-in tools of the system itself are used.

Management

You can use standard gestures, on-screen keyboard and virtual mouse. You can deploy your own workspace and create a set of frequently used applications for quick launch. Shared clipboard function is supported. You can stream video and audio, there is a built-in file manager. Settings are provided for the correct display of the desktop. If necessary, the user can change the resolution and orientation of the remote interface. It is recommended to reduce the resolution if the current Internet speed is not enough for comfortable work. It is possible to access local storage and managed resources.
