Noom

Noom is an Android application for automatic step counting. The data is recorded in a log, and you can share statistics with friends. Supports running in the background to save battery.

Profile

To work with the utility, you need to create an account, only email and password are specified. Quick login with an account is supported Google or Facebook there is a convenient function of sharing comments with friends. This can be used to motivate them to increase their activity level. This tool adds elements of competition, which has always been a good motivator.

Pedometer

The app allows you to track the number of steps you have walked, displaying the current result on the start screen. In this case, external devices are not used, all functionality is implemented by analyzing data from the standard accelerometer. The algorithm analyzes the movements of the device, cutting off unnecessary movements. This allows you to record the number of steps with sufficient accuracy.

Statistics

This section allows you to see the number of steps traveled for a certain period. You can change the period, forming a selection with the required parameters. A separate tab accumulates information about friends' statistics. You can add small text notes and send messages to your friends. It is worth considering that the project is currently not supported by the developer. New functionality is not added, nor are updates released.
