Timbre is an Android application that is a handy editor for video and audio. You can extract the audio track, cut the desired areas and glue them together, there is a built-in converter.

Merge and trim

The utility supports all popular formats, including AVI, MKV and FLV. A convenient workspace is used, there is a timeline that allows you to quickly find the desired position by dragging a marker. This makes it much easier to work in the trimming mode. Beforehand, you need to select a file for processing. For this purpose, the standard file manager is used, just go to the folder and select the file. Next, the start and end positions are specified using markers. After confirmation, the new file is saved to the specified folder. It is possible to overlay an external audio track on the video. In this case, a convenient timeline is also used. You can create your own clips.

Bitrate and conversion

The built-in converter allows you to quickly change the current file format. During the modification step, you can change the basic parameters, including the bitrate. This can be used if you need to compress a file, for example, to send it via messenger.

Additional features

It is possible to extract audio tracks from video. The resulting track can be further edited or saved as a separate MP3 file. Using a standard extension allows you to run the file on any player. There is a built-in function to change the playback speed. It is possible to convert a short video into a GIF animation. All necessary settings are also provided, including resolution and size.
