OpenBox software is a convenient tool for re-flashing the electronic control unit of your car. It supports BSL mod. Important! The software creator is an independent developer who is not responsible for unforeseen problems and program failures. So it is up to you to use OpenBox or not!

Usage

OpenBox is a programmer that can read and rewrite information from circuits (EEPROM/FLASH). These operations allow you to re-flash the electronic block of the car. Before starting the operation you should turn the ignition off and on. The programmer recognizes only K-Line adapter and if the adapter speed is 56700, the software will automatically establish communication with the block. In the process of work the program displays the received information on the panel, which is periodically updated. With the help of the tool you can independently carry out diagnostics of the automobile system and identify certain problems in the work of the electronic block. Also the programmer allows you to perform manual emulation of the necessary firmware. As a rule, the above procedures will help the owner of the car to improve driving performance and gasoline consumption. On special forums on the Internet, you can always find various ready-made versions of firmware.

Supported ECU models

The software is compatible with the following list of ECU models:

• Mikas (11ET, 11E3, 10.3, 11.4);
• Bosch (ME797, MG798, 797+)
• Itelma (M73);
• Avtel (M73).

This list will not be added in the future and is final, as the application support is discontinued. If you have not found your ECU model in the above list, we strongly recommend you not to flash it, and turn to other software!

Additional features

The application has a number of useful functions that are located in the "Other" section. Among them there are such important tools as decoding of detected error codes, overwriting in "bootloader" mode and support for "BSL" mode.
