ByteFence is an antivirus application for Windows. It provides protection against viruses of various types, as well as unwanted software (adware, spyware and so on). Threat Search

After opening the main program window, select the scan mode. Full scan includes scanning of all files on disks (including external ones), active processes and RAM. Detected threats are removed automatically. After scanning, it provides a detailed report. You can also select a quick scan that affects only system directories and a number of other objects. The third mode involves scanning a specific file or directory. The program can run in the background, monitoring all changes in the system. At the same time, all files from the network and connected external drives are automatically scanned. If dangerous files are detected, they are moved to quarantine and the user is notified accordingly. Browsers are scanned for dangerous modules. All installed plug-ins and extensions are checked. Suspicious third-party activity is recorded. It is possible to view the statistics of the application at any time. You can check the number of detected and deleted objects. If a file is detected by mistake, you can add it to the exceptions. In the process of checking, such files are ignored.
