Kingsoft Antivirus is an antivirus for Windows platform, which is able to provide full system protection from modern threats. It features real-time protection, automatic scanning of external drives and a full scanning function.

Virus Search

The antivirus uses a cloud platform in its work, and heuristic analysis technologies are actively used. This allows for effective detection of new viruses, while ensuring high speed with a relatively low load on the PC hardware. The user can choose one of three scanning formats during operation:

• fast;
• full;
• selective.

The first option is optimal for a quick search for dangerous threats. Only the main system components are checked - autoloading, RAM, and so on. A full scan affects all available drives, the registry, active processes, and the boot record of the hard disk. Scanning can take a long time, but it ensures that all components are scanned for different types of threats. Selective scanning provides the user with the ability to specify the search area. It can be used, for example, if a USB drive needs to be scanned.

Protection

There are several additional modules that extend the capabilities of the antivirus. It checks Internet traffic while opening websites, and also monitors messenger activity. All downloaded files and connected drives are automatically checked. This allows you to quickly neutralize any malicious activity before the virus penetrates the components of the operating system.
