gretl

Gretl is an open source application developed for Android. It is used for econometric modeling. The utility contains tools that can analyze the original data and detect dependencies between variables. There is a graphing function and the study of economic processes.

Introduction of data

Immediately after the program is launched, the user can study examples of work and start creating his own project. You can enter the name and description of variables yourself or use the import function. It is possible to recognize the contents of text files in "Microsoft Word" and spreadsheets. It is also possible to load information from an external database in such formats as XML and CSV.

Analyzing

The program allows you to estimate parameters using least squares and other methods. There is a tool that starts automatic search of dependence between variables. It also determines the correlation. The results of the calculation are provided in a visual form on the graph. It is possible to plot the distribution of values in a given interval. The considered program is endowed with the functions of creating scripts to automate the execution of similar actions and connecting third-party plug-ins. Support for integration with different computing systems is provided, so that you can analyze the data obtained.
