LibreCAD

LibreCAD is a professional Windows utility containing tools for developing plans and drawings. The features implemented in the editor will be useful primarily for schemes of engineering and construction structures. The application has no Russian localization.

Main features

The computer program has a significant set of tools. Due to this, the user can create various two-dimensional plans and schemes of any complexity and scale. If necessary, you can load a picture into the editor to use it as a reference. The tools present in the program are located at the edges of the working area. To apply any function, you need to click on its icon. For example, a person can place a variety of shapes and arrows on the scheme. It is also possible to apply filters from the built-in catalog. When working on the plan, a person can adjust the scale by scrolling the computer mouse wheel. In this case the coordinate grid is adapted to the current proximity or remoteness of the project. This function is very useful when creating complex projects. In addition, the program supports working with multiple layers.

Supported formats

Projects created in this program are automatically saved with the DXF extension. However, a person can use the converter to change the format to PDF or SVG. The utility supports loading graphic files to use them as references. Among the acceptable extensions are PNG, XPM, BMP, XBM and PPM.
