JBL Speakershop

The JBL Speakershop application is two independent modules that allow you to design your own speakers. Only English language is supported. There is a built-in catalog of basic components.

Enclosure Module

This component is designed to work with enclosure and sound parameters. It is possible to analyze signal features under different conditions. The analysis is performed in the normal mode, while the overall delay parameter is estimated. At this stage the coil resistance at different frequency ranges is taken into account. A separate simulation is carried out at an increased power level. This provides all the necessary data for the current project.

Applications and features

In the process, the user is able to select the optimal speaker for the future system. The catalog contains basic parameters and descriptions of all common enclosures. This greatly facilitates the process of designing loudspeaker systems of different levels of complexity, eliminating the need to manually enter a large amount of input data. During the design process you can specify the make and model of the device, frequency characteristics, air volume and a number of other parameters. It is possible to generate a graph of sound power, which can also be used for design. A separate Crossover Module is used to analyze filter set parameters.
