Wise Folder Hider

Wise Folder Hider is a Windows application for hiding directories and files in Explorer. As additional protection you can lock access with a password.

Short description

The application allows you to hide files of different types, and it is also possible to hide the entire logical partition of the hard drive. To protect important data, it is recommended to use a sufficiently long password containing characters of different types. This will ensure protection against tampering. Complex settings are not required, it is enough to select the desired file in the main window of the program and specify the protection parameters.

Functions

The program noticeably simplifies the installation of hidden mode. This feature is originally integrated into the operating system, but it is located quite deep. It is necessary to open the properties of each file, go to the necessary tab and change the corresponding option. The program allows you to centrally configure this mode for a large number of folders. Additional features are added, including the activation of password protection. The protection mechanism can also be applied to content on an external disk. After making changes, you should save them by clicking the corresponding button. If another user tries to access such a directory, a password entry form will be displayed. Until the correct sequence is entered, the contents cannot be viewed.
