Lazarus

The Lazarus application is a free software development environment. The project is open source and allows you to create dynamic libraries, GUI applications and other software products. It is based on the IDE and Free Pascal platforms.

Program functions

Visualization technologies are used to develop the graphical interface, which allows you to simplify your work considerably. An extensive library of graphical elements is available - icons, interface elements, panels, buttons, and so on. The editor allows you to place a component in the desired location with a mouse, after which you can specify the basic settings and add code to process actions. The code editor provides all the necessary features and tools. There is syntax highlighting, automatic error detection, additional hints.

Creating applications

The work process is divided into several stages. Beforehand, you need to enter the main menu and click the "Create Project" button. An empty interface will be displayed, to which you need to add the necessary elements step by step. For this purpose, a convenient library is used, all content is divided into categories. After adding, it is recommended to immediately change the basic properties - name, color, size, and so on. The program code that provides the functionality of the component is written manually using the editor. If necessary, the set of elements can be expanded by downloading additional packages.
